Intel® Teach News

This year, Intel Teach Philippines has decided to extend Master Trainers’ Trainings to community-led training initiatives. In cooperation with their respective Local Government Units and DepEd Division Offices, a total of 98 elementary school teachers and 34 high school teachers from various schools in Cavite, Marikina City, and Naga City completed the Getting Started and Skills for Success Master Trainers’ Trainings for the month of April.

The training schedules and venues are as follows:

April 14-17 – Getting Started Course – Parang High School (Marikina City)

April 14-17 – Getting Started Course (Batch 1) – Naga City Science High School (Naga City, Camarines Sur)


Trainers: Marivic Rosales and Maria Lourdes Olivares

April 18-22 – Getting Started Course (Batch 2) – Naga City Science High School (Naga City, Camarines Sur)


Trainers: Marivic Rosales, Maria Lourdes Olivares and Rafaela Myrna Casim

April 23-26 – Skills for Success Course – Naga City Science High School (Naga City, Camarines Sur)


Trainers: Marivic Rosales and Maria Lourdes Olivares

April 28-30 and May 2 – Getting Started Course – Congressional National High School (Dasmariñas, Cavite)


Trainers: Zoilo Pinongcos, Jr. and Rosalie Bongon

The participants completed 32 hours of coursework, quizzes and discussions with the Intel Teach trainers. These teachers worked face-to-face with their instructors over four days. At the conclusion of the training, teachers will demonstrate their readiness to teach the Program curriculum by training 20 co-teachers.

This month’s trainings jumpstarted the series of Master Trainers’ Trainings which are to be delivered until June.
