Intel Technology Philippines, Inc., in partnership with the Department of Education, University of the Philippines National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED), and the Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development (FIT-ED) will hold the 2nd National Intel® Teach Conference with the theme, “Deepening Impact through CoL Support Strategies” at Crown Regency Hotel in Cebu on November 25-27, 2007.

This event brings together the Intel® Teach In-service and Pre-service communities one year after the Intel Teach Community of Learning Strategy (CoL) was introduced at the First National Forum in December 2006. Intel Teach practitioners meet again and are provided with the opportunity to share CoL experiences and learning, enhancement and capacity building, and institutional collaboration.

The Conference aims to enable the Intel Teach In-service and Pre-service participants to:

• Extend pedagogical approaches to more actively engage and equip students with 21st century skills

• Expand planning and management skills to effectively utilize available resources and create opportunities

• Develop CoL Action Plans that will allow them to continue program activities for at least one more year beyond agreed-upon program support
